Methodology

Scope

The current pipeline processes the Hovedresultater worksheet from the public RUKS workbook.

Normalization

Each populated year cell becomes one observation in a long-format fact table with:

• measure
• disease
• geography level
• region
• municipality
• sex
• age group
• value kind
• standardization
• year
• value

Missing Data

Blank cells in the workbook are preserved as missing and are not coerced to 0.

Publication Strategy

• small manifests and history logs are committed to Git
• large artifacts are produced in artifacts/ and intended for GitHub Releases
• the Quarto site consumes small generated JSON summaries
